Archie “Waiting for Santa” |
Archie—Light Background |
One of the many advantages of a portrait rendered digitally is the opportunity to make any number of modifications to a portrait without having to change the “original”. Here, Archie is shown with a dark background. Next, a light background and, finally; little Archie is anticipating the arrival of Santa! Options are limited only by the extent of ones imagination. |

I paint true-to-life portraits, digitally, one stroke at a time. Just as I did in my early years when my medium was brush on canvas. The “model” is your photograph. My fine art portraits capture the subject’s unique individuality which is why each portrait takes on a life-like appearance. I receive no greater compliment from my clients than when I hear them proclaim “That’s her” or “That’s him!” Each portrait is rendered on museum quality canvas with an applied ultra-violet (UV) and waterproof protective coating. To see the detail in each portrait; and the “model” photograph, simply click on an image. |

A typical photo of a beautiful couple on their Wedding Day. So much confusion for the eye...the couple gets lost! My portrait literally brings this couple ‘closer together’ and dramatizes the splendor of the day. |
She has a gorgeous face and a warm heart! A true beauty. |
Her Grandfather had a photo that he thought couldn’t be improved. Until he saw the portrait I painted for him, which brought tears to his eyes. |
This young man, named William, is the apple of his Father’s eye. |
